Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
My style as a therapist is curious, collaborative and empathetic. I am honest, gentle and enjoy the use of humor. I believe that you are the expert of you, and together we can create a safe space for me to better understand your needs. These needs will help guide our treatment and give meaning to our goals. Through our work together I hope to help you and your partner effectively communicate and meet each other’s needs, experience more fulfilling quality time, and strengthen or deepen the connection that brought you together.
As we work together we may discover underlying issues that could be impacting the current relationship. For these reasons I also work with the following:
- Identity exploration and transition
- Chronic illness
- Grief and loss
- Life stage transitions
- Family of origin
I earned my Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy with a Sex Therapy focus from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 2015, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology at Oregon State University in 2012. I am a queer and trans-affirming therapist I create a safe and judgment free environment to promote self-exploration. All people are welcomed and respected.
